Where professional insight meets passionate advocacy
For 14 years, I worked inside the school system as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I loved writing goals, analyzing data, and watching my students make breakthroughs. But over time, I noticed a heartbreaking pattern: parents were overwhelmed by the system, and school districts were often constrained by budgets, staffing shortages, and red tape.
I saw incredible parents settling for inadequate IEPs simply because they didn't know what to ask for, or because the school’s data was presented in a confusing way.
I decided to transition from SLP to Special Education Advocate because our children don't just need therapeutic support; they need legal and systemic protection.
As your advocate, I bring 14 years of internal school-system knowledge to your side of the table. I know how the administration thinks, I know how to spot flawed evaluations, and I know exactly how to write an IEP that enforces accountability. I stopped working for the system so I could start working exclusively for your child.
